Parmley P.A.W.S. (Parents Assisting With Students)
You can make a difference in the life of a student by serving as a Parmley Elementary Volunteer. Each volunteer helps our students learn, grow and succeed! We are grateful to you for sharing your valuable time with Parmley students and staff. Your volunteer hours would be used for:
- Office Duties- mailing, shredding, counting flyers for homerooms, shelving books, decorating etc.
- Classroom Helper- Classroom reader, assist teacher with copying, cutting etc., chaperone on field trips and classroom parties
- Security- walk perimeter of building, monitor playgrounds and hallways, assist in the lunch room, help with breakfast, help with car/bus rider lines.
If you are interested in becoming a Parmley P.A.W.S. volunteer, you must complete a district volunteer form for a criminal history record check.
If you are wanting to eat lunch in the cafeteria, visit school administrators/teachers for conferences, attend/observe field day events, programs, etc., you do not need to fill out the volunteer application. You will be considered a VISITOR and should sign in at the main office at the campus, scan your ID and receive a VISITOR badge. All visitors will be checked through the sex offender registry.
