The district recently announced that district’s Pre-Kindergarten classes, currently held at each elementary school, are being pulled to one location to create the new early education center. The center will be housed at the existing Roark Annex, located next to Parmley Elementary (across from the Willis Post Office).
“I have always loved working with primary students,” said Lewis. “I look forward to helping our Willis ISD Pre-K teachers use their big hearts to shape little minds.”
Lewis was an elementary teacher for 15 years before taking the Assistant Principal position at Parmley in 2006. She was named Principal in 2013. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching from Sam Houston State University and a Masters in Education from Prairie View A&M University.
Lewis has been married to John for 26 years and they have two sons - Joel, a Junior at Willis High School, and John III, a Junior at The University of Houston.
