Mrs. Stahlecker loves teaching music and believes that every child is a precious gift. She also believes in teaching children to have good character and personal responsibility.
"The fact that children can make beautiful music is less significant than the fact that music can make beautiful children." --Cheryl Lavendar
All students have music class once a week for 45 minutes. We also work on Rodeo Art during the fall semester.
Students are graded on their participation, effort, skills, and conduct. The grades are as follows:
E=Excellent (the student goes above and beyond expectations)
S=Satisfactory (the student shows participation and effort, meets most expectations--most students earn this grade)
N=Needs improvement (the student does not participate or show effort much of the time, and/or behavior problems involved)
U=Unsatisfactory (the student does not participate or show effort, and the student's behavior is negatively impacting the rest of the class)
