Celebrate Texas Public Schools

It’s Celebrate Texas Public Schools Week, and Willis ISD is one of more than 1,200 school districts bringing top quality education to Texas’ more than 4 million students. We have talented teachers and caring staff members and administrators who set a strong foundation for this success each day. There is power in public schools, and we invite you to take a closer look at Willis ISD.

Hands-free School Zones

The safety and security of our students is our number one priority. Willis ISD reminds drivers that within school zones, all drivers are prohibited from texting and using handheld devices while operating a motor vehicle.

Want to volunteer?

Come check out our PAWS (Parents Assisting With Students) program. We always need volunteers to help in the classroom, lunchroom, recess, office, and library. Call 856-1232 for more information.

Attendance Matters!

Please make sure your child attends school every day. If your child is sick, please send a note within 72 hours of absence. If your child is out more than three days due to illness, you must send a doctor's note for absences to be excused.
