Homecoming Traditions	 to Remember Willis, TX –Sept 23, 2014 -- It’s officially Fall and Homecoming is right around the corner. Our thoughts turn to parades, mums, garters, and, of course, Wildkat Football. Willis ISD honors these long-standing traditions and welcomes the custom of wearing Homecoming mums and garters on all WISD campuses on the day of the big game, Friday, October 17th, with just a few restrictions.

Willis ISD Promotes Healthy Lifestyles Willis Independent School District in collaboration with Texas AgriLife Extension Service and Texas A&M University, implements and evaluates the impact of programs designed to improve physical activity and eating behaviors of children at Coordinated Approach to Child Health (CATCH) elementary schools in the district.
Perfect Attendance

Perfect Attendance Congratulations to Mrs. Korkowski's first grade class for attending school every day this year. Not one student has missed a day since August 25th. We are so proud of her students and parents for making this awesome effort. We are also thankful for Mrs. Korkowski's engaging lessons that make her students want to attend school everyday.

The service allows Willis ISD to communicate information by phone within minutes of an emergency or unplanned event that causes early dismissal, school cancellation or late start. It may also be used to convey general reminders or announcements. To review messages, call 855-955-8500 from the phone number to which the message was sent. Contact your child's campus if the number(s) you provided for the School Reach system to use should change.
